Front Cover Analysis

Add ImageThese are the two completed external faces of the digi-pack. After realising that we needed to change the band member image to one of our own actors, we decided to take the shot of the main singer and use that as the front of the digi-pack. In order to make the digi-pack more professional we added a blue sticker including information about the digi-pack, also the smaller white writing on the back was included due to our efforts to add some sort of copyright and legal information.

This is the barcode added to give our product more realism and is placed with a ‘splat’ effect to relate more to the genre of the music.

We inserted this DVD sign to the bottom right corner to our front cover to show that that it is a DVD-CD digi-pack and to make it appear more professional.

This is the title of the band and CD name. I got the font from the Internet and used it because it would seem to in someway relate to fitting in with the genre, and by using a white font on a black background it appears ghostly.

I then produced and included this sticker as I researched other digi-packs and they tend to include a sticker advertising what is included to entice a possible consumer.
